How it works

1. Declare Hellkite Charger and Zuko as attackers, triggering each of their abilities.
2. Resolve the Zuko trigger, adding an amount of equal to the number of experience counters you have.
3. Resolve the Hellkite Charger trigger, causing you to pay 5 to untap all attacking creatures and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
4. Repeat each combat phase.

This brilliant offensive pairing turns your combat steps into a self-sustaining engine by letting Hellkite Charger fund its own extra attacks. As both dragons and warriors charge into the red zone, Zuko, Firebending Master generates floating red mana equal to your experience counters each time he attacks. The key to bridging the mana gap is casting spells during combat to grow your counter supply, which feeds directly into Hellkite Charger's hefty activation cost. Once your experience counter total reaches seven, Zuko's firebending completely covers the exact cost needed to untap your team and grant infinite combat phases.
