How it works

1. Cast Mourning by paying 2 life, targeting K'rrik.
2. Aetherflux Reservoir and K'rrik trigger.
3. Resolve the K'rrik trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Aetherflux Reservoir trigger, causing you to gain an amount of life equal to your storm count.
5. Resolve Mourning, attaching it to K'rrik.
6. Activate Mourning by paying 2 life, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
7. Repeat.
8. Once you have infinite life, you may use Aetherflux Reservoir's ability to deal infinite damage to any target(s).

This loop turns a seemingly innocuous Aura into a lethal weapon by swapping mana costs for health. With K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth on the battlefield, the black mana in Mourning's casting cost can be paid entirely with life, allowing you to cast it over and over while triggering Aetherflux Reservoir to steadily climb your life total. Since Mourning's own activation ability lets you bounce it right back to your hand for another payment of life, K'rrik's lifelink and the escalating lifegain from Aetherflux Reservoir easily outpace the life you spend. Meanwhile, Umori, the Collector helps streamline the deck behind the scenes, and once your life total and storm count are high enough, you can cash out by paying 50 life into Aetherflux Reservoir's activated ability to blast your opponents away.
