How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
5. Resolve the Woe Strider ability from step 1, causing you to scry 1.
6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying 2.
7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
8. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you turn the dark mana from Priest of Gix into an engine that progressively exiles your entire library with Rakdos, the Muscle, courtesy of mana cost reduction from Umori, the Collector. By sacrificing the Priest to Woe Strider, you trigger Rakdos to dig deep into your library while Woe Strider lets you scry along the way. Haunted Crossroads then neatly returns the Priest to the top of your deck just in time for you to cast it from exile for a mere two mana—profiting one black mana on each iteration thanks to the Priest's ritual-like entry.
