How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies as a Human due to Conspiracy, Xathrid Necromancer triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Repeat.

By naming "Human" with Conspiracy, you fundamentally rewrite the rules of your battlefield: every creature you own—including the Zombie tokens—becomes a Human in addition to its other types. This lets you feed those very tokens into Altar of Dementia, sending cards straight to the graveyard while triggering Xathrid Necromancer's ability. Because Xathrid Necromancer sees every dying creature as a Human, it immediately replaces each sacrifice with a fresh 2/2 Zombie token, creating a self-sustaining loop that mills out your opponents entirely.
