How it works
Activate Cormela by paying 1 and tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast instant or sorcery spells.
Cast Demonic Gifts by paying 1, targeting Cormela.
Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Cormela.
When Cormela dies, it triggers twice and Scion of Opulence triggers once.
Resolve the Scion of Opulence trigger, creating a Treasure artifact token.
Resolve the first Cormela trigger, returning Cormela from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Resolve the second Cormela trigger, returning Demonic Gifts from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Phantom Train ability from step 3.
Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
Repeat.
This clever loop puts Cormela, Glamour Thief right at the center of an endless cycle of sacrifice and resurrection. You start by using Cormela's own tapped ability to help fund Demonic Gifts, enchanting her so that her impending doom actually brings her right back. By feeding Cormela to Phantom Train, you instantly turn her into a spirit while growing the vehicle's own power, which simultaneously triggers Scion of Opulence to spawn a handy Treasure token every single time she hits the graveyard. That dying breath also triggers Cormela's own recursion ability twice—letting her pull herself out of the graveyard and return Demonic Gifts right back to your hand—leaving you free to sacrifice the newly minted Treasure for the mana needed to cast the spell all over again.
