How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. Kitchen Finks' persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield with zero -1/-1 counters on it due to Metallic Mimic.
3. Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, causing you to gain two life.
4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, scrying 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the native resilience of Kitchen Finks, which normally returns with a -1/-1 counter from persist after being sacrificed to Viscera Seer. However, Metallic Mimic steps in with its passive replacement effect, declaring a shared creature type so that Kitchen Finks re-enters the battlefield completely free of counters. This interaction lets you cycle the Finks back and forth indefinitely, turning the sacrifice outlet into an engine for infinite life, scrys, and creature triggers.
