How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Metallic Mimic
3. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
4. Repeat

This clever loop relies on a persist creature returning from the graveyard with a -1/-1 counter, only for Metallic Mimic to step in and neutralize that drawback by granting an offsetting +1/+1 counter as it enters the battlefield. Because the creature returns without any counters to weigh it down, you can freely sacrifice it again and again to Goblin Bombardment to pelt any target with endless damage. Every single iteration also pumps out infinite death triggers and enters-the-battlefield events, turning a simple sacrifice outlet into a devastating victory.
