How it works

1. Cast Augusta from your hand by paying 0 due to Aluren.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Augusta, adding one mana of any color.
3. When Augusta dies, Death's Oasis triggers, causing you to mill two cards and return Plargg from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns the legendary backside of Plargg, Dean of Chaos // Augusta, Dean of Order into an infinite sacrifice engine by leaning on Aluren to completely bypass its mana cost. Because Augusta is a creature with a mana value of 3 or less, Aluren lets you cast her over and over for free whenever she hits the graveyard. Once she is on the battlefield, you simply sacrifice her to Phyrexian Altar to generate any color of mana. This sacrifice immediately triggers Death's Oasis, whose passive mill and recursion abilities let you pluck Augusta's front-side counterpart, Plargg, back to your hand—or simply feed the loop while churning through your library.
