How it works

1. Cast Vizier of Many Faces by paying its mana cost. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
2. Put Vizier of Many Faces into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
3. Vizier of Many Faces's first ability and second ability trigger, along with Rakdos Joins Up's second ability.
4. Resolve Vizier of Many Faces's second trigger and Rakdos Joins Up's trigger, dealing damage to target opponent.
5. Resolve Vizier of Many Faces's first trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it as a copy of Rakdos Joins Up.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This cunning loop transforms our enchantments into a lethal damage engine by exploiting the legend rule. With Opalescence turning enchantments into creatures, playing Vizier of Many Faces as a copy of the original Rakdos Joins Up immediately triggers the legend rule to send one copy to the graveyard. From there, Rakdos Joins Up's graveyard return ability (or the copy's own trigger) continuously resurrects Vizier of Many Faces to the battlefield with extra +1/+1 counters, sustaining an infinite cycle of death triggers and explosive damage.
