How it works

1. Activate Katsumasa by paying 2, causing Aetherflux Reservoir to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
2. Give Aetherflux Reservoir lifelink.
3. Activate Aetherflux Reservoir by paying 50 life, dealing 50 damage to any target and causing you to gain 50 life.
4. Repeat step 3.

This clever setup transforms your combo pieces into a self-sustaining life and damage engine. Katsumasa, the Animator does the heavy lifting of turning Aetherflux Reservoir into an artifact creature, which opens the door for it to receive lifelink from external effects. Once that creature is armed with lifelink, paying the 50 life ability of Aetherflux Reservoir deals 50 damage and simultaneously heals you back to full health. Because you've regained the life spent, you can repeat this activation an infinite number of times to laser down any target.
