How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
3. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
4. When the Servo enters, Pious Evangel triggers if it's on the battlefield.
5. Regardless, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding 1
6. When the Servo dies, Wayward Disciple triggers if it's on the battlefield.
7. Resolve either the Pious Evangel or Wayward Disciple trigger, causing you to gain life and target opponent to lose 1 life if Wayward Disciple triggered.
8. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
9. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop transforms a simple spark of lifegain into a self-sustaining engine of creation and destruction, powered by the synergy between Spider-Man, Peter Parker and Animation Module. Every time you gain life, Spider-Man, Peter Parker grants a +1/+1 counter to a creature, which immediately prompts Animation Module to manufacture a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token for a single mana. That fresh token can be instantly fed into Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact mana needed to pay for the Module's trigger, while also setting off the death-trigger side of Pious Evangel // Wayward Disciple (as Wayward Disciple) to drain your opponent's life. Of course, the front face of Pious Evangel // Wayward Disciple (as Pious Evangel) ensures you're already rewarded just for having creatures enter the battlefield, and because Spider-Man, Peter Parker also grants your chosen creature indestructible when it gets a counter, your central piece stays thoroughly protected as the loop runs wild.
