How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing any other creature you control.
2. When the creature dies, Venom and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
3. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Resolve the Venom trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
7. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
8. Repeat.

This loop turns Shilgengar, Sire of Famine into an engine of continuous sacrifice by feeding it the very tokens it helps produce. Every time you sacrifice a creature to Shilgengar, Pitiless Plunderer steps in to generate a Treasure token to fund Animation Module's trigger, which replaces your fallen piece with a fresh Servo. Meanwhile, Venom, Eddie Brock grows larger with every death and keeps your hand full of cards if any fallen creature happens to be a Villain. Once you have churned through enough resources, Shilgengar’s heavy activation cost is easily met by cashing in your amassed Blood tokens to flood the board right back from your graveyard.
