How it works
- Draw a card.
- Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the Servo, adding .
- When the Servo dies, Dragon Appeasement triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop turns the usual restriction of Dragon Appeasement—which happily skips your normal draw step in exchange for cards upon sacrifice—into an engine by replacing that step with a self-sustaining trigger chain. Whenever you draw a card, Lyla, Holographic Assistant immediately places a +1/+1 counter on a creature, which in turn coaxes Animation Module into offering a Servo token for the low price of one mana. You then feed that newly minted token to Thermopod, generating the red mana needed to fund the Module while simultaneously triggering Dragon Appeasement to draw you another card and restart the whole cycle.
