How it works

1. Cast Dread Slaver by paying 3.
2. When Dread Slaver enters the battlefield, Be'lakor's second ability triggers, causing Dread Slaver to deal damage equal to its power to itself.
3. Dread Slaver dies as a state-based action due to its deathtouch.
4. Dread Slaver triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This brilliant demonic loop turns Dread Slaver into a self-sustaining engine by rewriting the rules of the battlefield. With Conspiracy naming "Demon" as the chosen creature type, every creature you control—including Dread Slaver itself—gains the Demon creature type, which allows Be'lakor, the Dark Master to recognize Dread Slaver's entrance and trigger its damage-dealing ability. Meanwhile, Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats quietly grants deathtouch to all your creatures, ensuring that the self-inflicted damage dealt by Be'lakor's trigger immediately sends Dread Slaver to the graveyard as a state-based action. That lethal blow then satisfies Dread Slaver's own resurrection condition, pulling it right back to the battlefield to repeat the cycle indefinitely for infinite entry and death triggers.
