How it works

1. Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying .
2. Geralf's first ability triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie Rogue creature token.
3. When the Zombie Rogue enters the battlefield, Geralf's second ability triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on the Zombie Rogue equal to the number of other Zombies that entered the battlefield under your control.
4. When Ebondeath enters the battlefield, Geralf's second ability triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on Ebondeath equal to the number of other Zombies that entered the battlefield under your control.
5. Activate Altar of Dementia twice by sacrificing the Zombie Rogue and Ebondeath.
6. When the Zombie Rogue and Ebondeath die, Pitiless Plunderer triggers twice, creating two Treasure tokens.
7. Resolve both Altar of Dementia abilities.
8. Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding .
9. Repeat.

With Pitiless Plunderer fueling your mana supply by harvesting the dead, you can continually recast Ebondeath, Dracolich from the graveyard—a trick enabled the moment any other creature dies. Meanwhile, Geralf, the Fleshwright transforms your spellcasting into an escalating wave of growing Zombie Rogue tokens, which Altar of Dementia eagerly mills into oblivion upon sacrifice. Though Ezzaroot Channeler's life-gaining and cost-reducing mastery isn't strictly required to fire this specific death engine once the treasures are rolling, every piece locks together to grind your opponents' libraries entirely away.
