How it works

1. Play a land.
2. Sporemound triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling token that is also a Forest.
3. Repeat step 2 any number of times.
4. Activate Thermopod any number of times by sacrificing Sporemound and any number of other creatures, adding any amount of red mana.

This delightful loop is forged through the continuous synergy between Life and Limb, which turns every land into a Forest-Saproling and vice versa, creating a self-sustaining feedback loop whenever a new piece of land enters the battlefield. Because of this shared identity, Sporemound's landfall ability triggers continuously, generating a new Saproling token that is simultaneously a land, which in turn triggers Sporemound all over again in an endless cascade. To harness this runaway engine before it accidentally forces a draw, you simply feed the resulting tokens into Thermopod's sacrifice ability to instantly harvest infinite red mana and fuel whatever fiery demise you have planned for your opponents.
