How it works

1. Cast The Notary Hobbits by paying 3 plus commander tax if applicable.
2. When The Notary Hobbits enters, it triggers, creating two nonlegendary token copies of it.
3. Activate The Notary Hobbits and the two Notary Hobbits tokens by tapping them, adding CCC for each Halfling you control.
4. Activate Food Chain by exiling the nontoken Notary Hobbits, adding six that can only be spent to cast creature spells.
5. Choose to return The Notary Hobbits from exile to the command zone.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop gets rolling the moment you cast The Notary Hobbits, whose entrance triggers the creation of two nonlegendary token copies of itself to flood your board with Halflings. With Thousand-Year Elixir on the battlefield, those tokens and the original can tap immediately thanks to its haste-granting static ability, producing a mountain of colorless mana scaled to your massive Halfling army. Whenever you need to reset or scale things further, Food Chain steps in to exile a creature and generate a surplus of creature-only mana—allowing you to continually recast your commander from the command zone and restart the whole chain for an unstoppable cascade of triggers and resources.
