How it works

  1. Cast Grave Sifter for its evoke cost by paying 4.
  2. When Grave Sifter enters, its first ability and evoke abilities trigger.
  3. Resolve the first trigger, optionally returning a card from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Resolve the second trigger, sacrificing Grave Sifter.
  5. When Grave Sifter dies, Ashling triggers, creating a token copy of Grave Sifter with haste.
  6. When the Grave Sifter token enters, it triggers, returning Grave Sifter from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Activate Food Chain by exiling the Grave Sifter, adding B manaB manaB manaB manaB mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells.
  8. Repeat.
