How it works

1. Activate Lotus Field by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Rimewind Taskmage by paying 1 and tapping it, untapping Lotus Field.
3. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping Rimewind Taskmage.
4. Repeat any number of times.
5. Repeat steps with a different color for infinite mana of any color.

This clever loop turns the massive mana production of Lotus Field into an engine for infinite colored mana by weaving together three distinct permanents. Rimewind Taskmage serves as the linchpin of the combo, utilizing its tap ability to untap the land, provided you control enough snow permanents to meet its activation requirement. Meanwhile, Pemmin's Aura is enchanted directly onto the Taskmage, providing a cheap untap ability fueled by a fraction of the mana generated by the land to keep the wizard ready for the next iteration.
