How it works

2. Activate Ley Druid by tapping it, untapping Izzet Boilerworks.

This elegant loop transforms the bounce-and-mana mechanics of Izzet Boilerworks into a boundless engine by layering Ley Druid and Pemmin's Aura together. When you tap the Boilerworks for its dual blue-red mana, Ley Druid steps in to untap that land, while Pemmin's Aura keeps the Druid active by paying a blue mana to untap her over and over. Because the Aura's untap cost is cheaper than the blue mana generated by the land, this symbiotic cycle continually surpluses mana and untaps, netting infinite red mana along the way.
