How it works

1. Animate Solar Array, if needed.
2. Cast Pemmin's Aura by paying its mana cost, attaching it to Solar Array.
3. Activate Solar Array by tapping it, adding and causing the next artifact spell you cast this turn to have sunburst.
4. Activate Pemmin's Aura by paying , untapping Solar Array.
5. Repeat from step 3 as desired.
6. Cast any artifact spell, triggering its sunburst ability an infinite number of times, either putting infinite +1/+1 counters on charge counters on the artifact.

This clever engine turns your mana-rock into an infinite mana and counter factory by transforming it into a creature. First, you use The Blackstaff of Waterdeep to animate Solar Array into a 4/4 artifact creature, which makes it a legal target for Pemmin's Aura. Once Pemmin's Aura is attached, its first ability lets you untap Solar Array for a single blue mana—surplus mana when Solar Array taps for its own color-producing ability. This infinite tap-and-untap loop generates an unbounded amount of mana while repeatedly triggering Solar Array's ability, culminating in an artifact cast whose sunburst mechanic scales up to infinity.
