How it works

1. If the creature with Pemmin's Aura attached is not blue, activate Unctus by paying U/P, causing the creature to become a blue artifact in addition to its other types until end of turn.
2. Activate the creature by tapping it, adding at least .
3. The creature triggers, causing you to loot.
4. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping the creature.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant transmutation loop turns a simple untap enchantment into a bottomless well of card selection. Unctus, Grand Metatect grants all other blue creatures a specialized looting trigger whenever they tap, while also allowing you to temporarily reshape any creature into a blue artifact with its hybrid activation. Once you attach Pemmin's Aura to that modified creature, its built-in untap ability allows you to tap and untap the creature repeatedly for mana, feeding the aura's activation cost while triggering endless draws and discards.
