How it works

1. Cast Aeve from the command zone by paying 2 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. Aeve's storm ability triggers, creating a nonlegendary token copy of itself for each spell you've cast previously this turn.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar three times by sacrificing the nontoken Aeve and two Aeve tokens, adding six C.
4. Choose to have Aeve returned to the command zone from your graveyard.
5. Activate Prismite three times by paying 6, adding .
6. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Aeve token, adding CC.
7. Repeat step 6 until you have enough mana to cast Aeve.
8. Repeat from step 1.

This clever loop turns Aeve, Progenitor Ooze into a self-sustaining engine by capitalizing on the storm count and its unique token clause. When you cast your commander, its storm ability floods the board with nonlegendary token copies that each enter with an army of +1/+1 counters fueled by the other oozes you control. You then feed those tokens—and the original commander—into Ashnod's Altar to harvest a massive reserve of colorless mana. By filtering that colorless energy through Prismite, you generate the exact green mana needed to pay both your commander tax and recast Aeve, letting you repeat the entire process to endlessly grow your board and scale your storm count to infinity.
