How it works

1. Cast Aeve from the command zone by paying 2 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. Aeve's storm ability triggers, creating a nonlegendary token copy of itself for each spell you've cast previously this turn.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar three times by sacrificing the nontoken Aeve and two Aeve tokens, adding six C.
4. Choose to have Aeve returned to the command zone from your graveyard.
5. Activate Urn of Godfire's first ability three times by paying 6, adding .
6. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Aeve token, adding CC.
7. Repeat step 6 until you have enough mana to cast Aeve.
8. Repeat from step 1.

This ingenious loop turns Aeve, Progenitor Ooze into an escalating mana engine by leveraging the storm mechanic to flood the board with nonlegendary token copies of itself. Once your army is large enough, Ashnod's Altar steps in to harvest those oozes for raw colorless mana. To turn that colorless energy into the green required to recast your commander, you tap into Urn of Godfire's mana-filtering ability, fueling an endless cycle of casts, sacrifices, and massive +1/+1 counter growth.
