How it works
Cast Aeve from the command zone by paying 2 plus commander tax, if applicable.
Aeve's storm ability triggers, creating a nonlegendary token copy of itself for each spell you've cast previously this turn.
Activate Ashnod's Altar three times by sacrificing the nontoken Aeve and two Aeve tokens, adding six C.
Choose to have Aeve returned to the command zone from your graveyard.
Activate Stonework Packbeast three times by paying 6, adding .
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Aeve token, adding CC.
Repeat step 6 until you have enough mana to cast Aeve.
Repeat from step 1.
This clever loop turns Aeve, Progenitor Ooze into an escalating engine by leveraging its own storm ability to flood the board with nonlegendary token copies. Once the tokens arrive, Ashnod's Altar steps in to feed those oozes into a massive pool of colorless mana. Because Stonework Packbeast is there to efficiently filter that colorless energy into the green mana required, you can continually pay commander tax and recast Aeve from the command zone. Each iteration naturally swells your storm count higher, compounding the number of tokens you create and ultimately generating infinite mana, death triggers, and colossal oozes.
