How it works
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
- When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Captain Storm triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Captain Storm.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns the classic interaction between Sensei's Divining Top and a top-deck casting engine into a self-sustaining fountain of resources. Because Falco Spara, Pactweaver lets you cast spells from the top of your library by trading away creature counters instead of paying mana, you can recast the Top for free every time it returns to your library. Jhoira's Familiar helps ease any residual costs while you cycle, but the real engine is fueled by Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider: every single time Sensei's Divining Top re-enters the battlefield as an artifact, Captain Storm drops a fresh +1/+1 counter right back onto herself. That newly placed counter immediately becomes the fuel Falco Spara needs to cast the Top again, keeping the loop spinning endlessly to draw your entire deck and rack up infinite storm.
