How it works
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
- Vodalian Wave-Knight triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each other Knight and/or Merfolk you control.
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
- Repeat.
This clever loop transforms your library into an endless engine by using Falco Spara, Pactweaver's ability to let you cast spells directly from the top of your deck by removing a counter from a creature you control. You tap Sensei's Divining Top to draw a card and place itself back on top of your library, which immediately triggers Vodalian Wave-Knight to place a +1/+1 counter on itself or any other qualifying creature you control. You can then recast Sensei's Divining Top for free by spending that freshly minted counter to satisfy Falco Spara's alternative cost. Meanwhile, Stenn, Paranoid Partisan quietly stands guard by reducing the cost of your spells (when chosen appropriately), ensuring this artifact-recycling loop runs smoothly and repeatedly without breaking the bank.
