How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Vodalian Wave-Knight triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each other Knight and/or Merfolk you control.
3. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Sensei's Divining Top into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Falco Spara, Pactweaver's ability to cast spells from the top of your library using counters instead of mana. Because Sensei's Divining Top places itself back on top of your library when you draw a card, and Sami, Wildcat Captain reduces its cost down to zero through affinity for artifacts, you can continuously recast the Top without spending actual mana. Meanwhile, Vodalian Wave-Knight watches the card draw happen over and over, steadily pumping your team with a near-infinite stream of +1/+1 counters as the sequence repeats.
