How it works
- Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
- Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
- When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Captain Storm triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Captain Storm.
- Repeat.
This ingenious loop relies on Falco Spara, Pactweaver to fundamentally rewrite how you cast spells, allowing you to bypass the mana cost of Sensei's Divining Top by trading away a counter on a creature instead. As you repeatedly tap the Top to draw a card and place it back on your library, you can recast it for free off the top, fueling a continuous engine of artifact enters-the-battlefield triggers. Each time that artifact reappears, Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider cheerfully adds a +1/+1 counter to itself to replenish your expendable resource pool. Meanwhile, Artist's Talent quietly assists the operation by reducing costs at Level 2 and boosting damage at Level 3, letting you cycle cards effortlessly whenever you cast your noncreature artifact and turn a simple top-deck manipulation trick into an endless cascade of draws and storm count.
