How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Diving Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a charge counter from Uthros Research Craft.
3. Uthros Research Craft triggers, putting a charge counter on it and causing you to draw a card.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious engine turns your library into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging Falco Spara, Pactweaver to cast spells directly from the top of your deck while paying their costs with counters rather than mana. Sensei's Divining Top acts as the recurring focal point, constantly redrawing itself and placing itself back on top of the library so it can be recast. Meanwhile, Uthros Research Craft accelerates the sequence by replacing every cast artifact with an extra draw and a replenished charge counter to fuel Falco Spara, Pactweaver's alternate casting costs. While Ballad of the Black Flag may not be strictly required to keep the core loop spinning, its presence helps feed the graveyard and discount your historic spells along the way to generate massive storm counts and bottomless card draw.
