How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Baxter triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This clever engine turns Sensei's Divining Top into a self-sustaining draw machine by leveraging Falco Spara, Pactweaver's ability to cast spells directly from the top of your library using counters as an alternative payment. While Valeria Richards, Precocious reduces the cost of noncreature spells and rewards your first cast each turn with an extra card, Baxter, Fly in the Ointment acts as a crucial growth engine—not only granting your creatures keywords when it enters or attacks, but steadily accumulating +1/+1 counters each time you draw so you always have a fresh supply of counters to feed Falco Spara's alternative casting cost. By tapping the Top to draw a card and put it back on library, triggering Baxter in the process, you can immediately recast the Top off the top of your library using a newly placed counter, looping the process for infinite card draw and artifact triggers.
