How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
3. Elena and Longshot trigger.
4. Resolve the Elena trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Longshot trigger, dealing 2 damage to each opponent.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on Falco Spara, Pactweaver to fundamentally rewrite how you cast spells, allowing you to bypass mana costs by sacrificing counters from your creatures. With that permission granted, Sensei's Divining Top can repeatedly tap to draw itself and slide back onto the top of your library, only to be recast immediately for free using the shield counter that Falco Spara, Pactweaver entered with—or any +1/+1 counters accumulated along the way. Meanwhile, Elena, Turk Recruit happily grows larger with every recast of the historic artifact, while Longshot, Rebel Bowman takes full advantage of the noncreature spell being cast to melt your opponents' life totals through recurring damage.
