How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
3. Elena triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns Sensei's Divining Top into a free, infinitely repeatable engine by leveraging Falco Spara, Pactweaver's static ability to cast spells straight off the top of your library for the low cost of removing a creature's counter instead of mana. To make this cost-neutral, Bilbo, Thief in the Night chips in by reducing the Top's casting cost to zero, while quietly setting up loops or recurring other pieces if needed. Meanwhile, every time the Top is recast, Elena, Turk Recruit happily triggers off casting a historic artifact, growing larger with a steady stream of +1/+1 counters and offering a handy way to buy back historic cards when she first hits the battlefield.
