How it works

  1. Activate Three Tree City's second ability by paying 2 and tapping it, adding at least four mana of any color.
  2. Activate Meloku by paying 1 and returning Three Tree City from the battlefield to your hand, creating a 1/1 Illusion creature token.
  3. Activate High Market's second ability by tapping it and sacrificing the Illusion.
  4. When the Illusion dies, Auton Soldier and Minn's second abilities trigger.
  5. Holding priority, activate Meloku by paying 1 and returning High Market from the battlefield to your hand, creating a 1/1 Illusion creature token.
  6. Resolve the Auton Soldier and Minn triggers, putting Three Tree City and High Market from your hand onto the battlefield, choosing any creature type for Three Tree City that you control at least four creatures of.
  7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns simple land-bouncing into a perpetual engine by using Meloku the Clouded Mirror to repeatedly pick up your own lands, which are then immediately cheated back into play by Minn, Wily Illusionist. When Meloku bounces High Market and Three Tree City to pay its activation costs, you sacrifice the resulting Illusion token to High Market, triggering Minn's death ability to drop those lands right back onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Three Tree City taps to generate a massive windfall of colored mana to fuel the whole operation, while Auton Soldier hangs back on the battlefield as a crucial piece that helps enable Minn's continuous triggers.
