How it works
- At the beginning of your combat phase, Éowyn triggers, creating two creature tokens.
- Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached. Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to a creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This brilliant loop is built around the relentless pressure of Éowyn, Shieldmaiden, whose combat trigger effortlessly populates your board with hasty human tokens to keep the chain alive. You attach Breath of Fury to one of your attackers; the moment it strikes a player, Breath of Fury forces you to sacrifice that creature and reattach itself to a fresh token. This triggers a cascade of untaps and grants you an additional combat phase, allowing Éowyn, Shieldmaiden to churn out even more tokens each time while drawing you a card once your human count hits six or more.
