How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Crookshank Kobolds
2. When Crookshank Kobolds dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Crookshank Kobolds from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Cast Crookshank Kobolds from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Gwenom, Remorseless to turn the top of your library into your hand, allowing you to bypass mana costs by paying life instead—which costs nothing at all for a zero-mana creature like Crookshank Kobolds. Once the Kobolds are on the battlefield, Yahenni, Undying Partisan provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to send them straight to the graveyard. That is where Mortuary steps in to complete the engine, immediately intercepting the creature to tuck it right back onto the top of your library so Gwenom can let you recast it all over again.
