How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Crookshank Kobolds
2. When Crookshank Kobolds dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Crookshank Kobolds from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
4. Cast Crookshank Kobolds from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Shilgengar, Sire of Famine into an infinite resource engine by leveraging Mortuary to recycle your sacrifices. When you sacrifice Crookshank Kobolds to Shilgengar, Mortuary immediately catches it on its way to the graveyard and places it right back on top of your library. From there, Gwenom, Remorseless lets you bypass mana costs to recast the Kobolds for free using life, feeding the cycle anew. As you repeat this process endlessly, Shilgengar happily keeps generating an infinite supply of Blood tokens.
