How it works

  1. Cast Traveling Plague by paying 3B manaB mana, attaching it to another creature you control.
  2. When Traveling Plague enters, Archon of Sun's Grace triggers, creating a creature token.
  3. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature Traveling Plague is attached to.
  4. When the creature dies, Traveling Plague triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the token created in step 2.
  5. When Traveling Plague enters, Archon of Sun's Grace triggers, creating a creature token.
  6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop sets up an endless cycle of decay and rebirth by leveraging Traveling Plague's unique ability to return itself to the battlefield whenever its host leaves play. By using Altar of Dementia to sacrifice the enchanted creature, you force Traveling Plague to trigger its return, automatically reattaching it to the fresh Pegasus token created by Archon of Sun's Grace's constellation ability. Because every new arrival from Traveling Plague restarts the Archon's trigger, you can endlessly sacrifice your tokens to mill your opponents out while generating an infinite storm of leaves-the-battlefield and death triggers.
