How it works

  1. Cast Acrobatic Maneuver by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
  2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Archaeomancer and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
  3. Abdel Adrian and Archaeomancer trigger.
  4. Resolve the Archaeomancer trigger, returning Acrobatic Maneuver from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Acrobatic Maneuver.
  6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Archaeomancer and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
  7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple blink spell into an unstoppable engine by leveraging the recursive power of Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Archaeomancer. When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, it exiles your mana-producing permanents along with Archaeomancer, creating a swarm of Soldier tokens in the process. Rescuing Archaeomancer via Acrobatic Maneuver brings it right back to hand while continually drawing cards, and because Acrobatic Maneuver replaces itself in your hand each iteration, you can infinitely cycle through your deck while generating an endless supply of mana and tokens.
