How it works

  1. Cast Fiend Hunter by paying 1W manaW mana.
  2. Fiend Hunter enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Soul Warden.
  3. Resolve the Fiend Hunter trigger, exiling Karmic Guide.
  4. Resolve the Soul Warden trigger, causing you to gain 1 life.
  5. Activate Yawgmoth by paying 1 life and sacrificing Fiend Hunter.
  6. Fiend Hunter triggers, returning Karmic Guide from exile to the battlefield.
  7. Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Soul Warden.
  8. Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Fiend Hunter from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Fiend Hunter enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Soul Warden.
  10. Resolve the Fiend Hunter trigger, exiling Karmic Guide.
  11. Resolve both remaining Soul Warden triggers, causing you to gain two life.
  12. Resolve the Yawgmoth ability from step 5, putting a -1/-1 counter on up to one creature and drawing a card.
  13. Repeat from step 5.
