How it works

  1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 1W/P.
  2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
  3. When the Soldier enters the battlefield, Soul Warden triggers, causing you to gain one life.
  4. When Kor Skyfisher enters the battlefield, it and Soul Warden trigger.
  5. Resolve the Soul Warden trigger, causing you to gain one life.
  6. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Soldier, adding CC.
  8. Repeat.
