How it works

  1. Gain life.
  2. The Destined White Mage triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
  3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
  4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Soul Warden triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
  5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop centers around The Destined White Mage, whose ability to pump out +1/+1 counters whenever you gain life acts as the catalyst for the entire chain. When you trigger that lifegain, it places a counter on Basking Broodscale, which immediately spawns an Eldrazi Spawn token via its own trigger. That token entering the battlefield causes Soul Warden to trigger, giving you the life needed to restart The Destined White Mage and continue the cycle indefinitely.
