How it works

1. Activate a Spacecraft's station ability by tapping a creature you control, putting a number of charge counters on the Spacecraft equal to the creature's power.
2. If necessary, repeat step 1 until the Spacecraft has three or more charge counters on it.
3. Activate Moxite Refinery by paying 2, tapping it and removing three charge counters from the Spacecraft, putting three charge counters on Magistrate's Scepter.
4. Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
5. Repeat each turn.

This ingenious engine achieves infinite turns by turning Moxite Refinery into a catalyst for Magistrate's Scepter, using the Refinery's ability to instantly reload the Scepter with the three charge counters it needs. Instead of waiting several turns to accumulate counters the hard way, you simply remove counters from a high-power artifact or creature—often fueled by a Spacecraft's station ability—to instantly pay the cost for the Refinery. Once the Scepter is charged, you tap it to take an extra turn, untapping your board to repeat the entire cycle indefinitely until your opponents are locked out of the game entirely.
