How it works

1. Cast Flourishing Fox from your hand or graveyard by paying .
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Flourishing Fox, adding .
3. If Flourishing Fox was cast from your graveyard, Flourishing Fox is not exiled by Abandoned Sarcophagus due to Overwhelming Splendor removing Flourishing Fox's cycling ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a fascinating rules interaction between Abandoned Sarcophagus, Flourishing Fox, and Overwhelming Splendor. Normally, the Sarcophagus exiles any non-cycled card with cycling when it hits the graveyard, but Overwhelming Splendor strips the Fox of all its abilities—including its cycling ability—while it's on the battlefield. Because the Fox no longer has cycling as it dies, Abandoned Sarcophagus fails to exile it, allowing you to recast the creature from your graveyard repeatedly. Phyrexian Altar acts as the engine, turning each sacrifice into the white mana needed to recast the Fox and fueling your infinite triggers.
