How it works
- Gain life.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Distinguished Conjurer triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This elegant loop turns a single instance of life gain into a self-sustaining engine of growth and resources. Sunbond serves as the catalyst, translating the life you gain from Distinguished Conjurer's triggered ability—which watches over every Eldrazi Spawn entering the battlefield—into +1/+1 counters on Basking Broodscale. Basking Broodscale's own passive triggered ability then responds to those very counters by spawning more Eldrazi tokens, which can be sacrificed for colorless mana while immediately feeding back into Distinguished Conjurer to keep the cycle spinning infinitely.
