How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Treebeard's second ability triggers, putting that many +1/+1 counters on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. When the Squirrel enters the battlefield, Distinguished Conjurer triggers, causing you to gain life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop begins the moment you trigger any instance of lifegain, which commands Treebeard, Gracious Host to pump Scurry Oak with +1/+1 counters thanks to its passive growth trigger. Every counter placed on Scurry Oak immediately fires off its own token-generation ability, spitting out a 1/1 Squirrel. That new arrival automatically triggers Distinguished Conjurer's soul sister ability, netting you the vital life needed to restart Treebeard, Gracious Host and keep the cycle spinning forever. While Distinguished Conjurer's activated ability isn't even needed once the engine is rolling, every piece locks together to generate infinite creature tokens, counters, and life.
