How it works

5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns a single instance of lifegain into a self-sustaining engine of growth and swarming tokens. Once you trigger **Spider-Man, Peter Parker**, the lifegain places a +1/+1 counter on **Scurry Oak**, whose passive evolve ability isn't even needed here because its triggered ability creates a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token whenever counters are placed on it. That new token entering the battlefield causes **Distinguished Conjurer** to trigger, granting you 1 life.
