How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Etrata, triggering its ability twice due to Roaming Throne.
2. Holding priority, cast Return the Favor by paying 1, choosing its first mode and copying either of Etrata's triggers.
3. Resolve all Etrata triggers, exiling three creatures an opponent controls and putting hit counters on them, and then causing that opponent to lose the game.

Etrata, the Silencer naturally slips past opposing defenses and threatens to slowly eliminate opponents with hit counters, but this combo turns her into an immediate one-shot win. Roaming Throne doubles Etrata's combat damage trigger thanks to shared creature types, putting two exile-and-counter triggers on the stack at once. By responding with the copy mode of Return the Favor, you create a third trigger that pushes your total up to three exiled cards with hit counters, instantly winning the game on the spot.
