How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Ornithopter
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Cast Ornithopter from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns free creature sacrifices into a self-sustaining engine by manipulating the top of your library. With Gwenom, Remorseless active, its attack trigger grants you the ability to cast spells directly from your library's top while paying life instead of mana costs—a cost of zero life for the free artifact. When you use Yahenni, Undying Partisan to sacrifice Ornithopter, Mortuary immediately intercepts the dying thopter and places it right back onto the top of your library, perfectly positioned for Gwenom, Remorseless to play it over and over again.
