How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Ornithopter.
2. Cast Ornithopter from your graveyard by paying 0. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into an endless workshop by leveraging Leonardo, Sewer Samurai's ability to recast tiny creatures with power or toughness 1 or less—such as our free-flying friend Ornithopter—straight from the graveyard. While normally those creatures would be exiled by finality counters thanks to Leonardo's restriction, Solemnity steps in with its passive enchantment magic to completely shut down counters from ever being placed on artifacts or creatures. This lets you sacrifice the Ornithopter to Umbral Collar Zealot's activation, binning it and surveilling through your deck, only to immediately recast it for zero mana over and over again.
